Privacy Policy

Template for the MotherMedia platform — not legal advice. Have a licensed Israeli attorney review and adapt before you rely on it. Governed by Israeli law; the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction.
1. Who we are
MotherMedia (Tel Aviv, Israel) is the controller of personal data processed through the Service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law 5741-1981 and, where it applies, the EU/UK GDPR.
2. Data we collect
Account data (name, email, country, role); profile and social statistics you connect or that we retrieve from a public profile link you provide (handle, followers, engagement, top posts, audience demographics); campaign, offer, payment and message data you create on the platform; and technical/usage data (device, log, approximate location, cookies) needed to run and secure the Service.
3. How we use data and legal bases
We use data to provide and secure the Service, verify creators, match brands and creators, run campaigns and payments, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with law, and improve the product. Legal bases include performance of our agreement with you, your consent (e.g. connecting a social account), our legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and legal obligations. We do not post on your behalf.
4. Connected accounts and social data
When you provide a social link or connect an account, we process the public/authorized statistics needed for your report and matching. In the current stage statistics may be retrieved via a third-party data provider (e.g. Apify) acting as our processor; with platform login (OAuth), access tokens are stored server-side only, are never exposed to other users, and are used solely to read your stats. You can disconnect or request deletion at any time.
5. AI features
Optional AI tools (e.g. content, brief and offer assistants powered by Google Gemini via Firebase) process the inputs and numbers you choose to include in order to generate a draft for you. We do not use your private content to train third-party foundation models, and AI outputs are drafts you review before use.
6. Sharing
We share data with the other side of a collaboration as needed (e.g. a brand sees a creator's sanitized stats), and with service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, analytics, payment processing, the data and AI providers above) under contract. We may disclose data where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
7. International transfers
Some providers process data outside Israel/the EEA. Where required, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses and appropriate safeguards.
8. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it, except where longer retention is required by law (e.g. tax and accounting records) or to resolve disputes.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls and server-only storage of secrets and tokens. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials safe.
10. Your rights
Under Israeli law and, where applicable, the GDPR you may access, correct, export (Settings → Export data) or delete your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise your rights or complain, contact us below; Israeli residents may also contact the Privacy Protection Authority.
11. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and privacy-respecting analytics to improve the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. See the Cookie Policy for details and choices.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in the Service. Questions or requests: privacy@mothermedia.example, MotherMedia, Tel Aviv, Israel. Governing law and jurisdiction are as set out in the Terms of Use (Israeli law; Tel Aviv-Yafo courts).
